Highlights from the Archives
The Company’s archives date back to the 14th century, and the Library's collections include over 8,000 books and over 15,000 images, magazines, journals, films and special research collections.
Open Days
A number of Open Days are held during the year, with guided tours of the Historic Goldsmiths' Hall arranged for the general public.

The Hall is not open to the public, except during the annual Goldsmiths' Fair. However, a number of Open Days are held during the year when guided tours of the Hall are arranged. The tours last approximately one hour. Each tour can accommodate up to 40 people at a charge of £10 per person, which will go to the Goldsmiths' Company Charity.
The ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable.

History of the Company
The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, more commonly known as the Goldsmiths' Company, is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London and received its first royal charter in 1327.
