Silver gilt, rock crystal. Maker’s mark: three trefoils in a trefoil. Measurements: Base and cover height: 30.4 cm

Figure of Neptune within rock crystal with standing ionic columns. Presented by Simon Gibbon at a dinner held at the Hall after a search through the City for wares of base metal on St Bartholomew’s Day, Thursday 18th August 1632, as stipulated in the Court minutes. Inscribed “the guift of Simon Gibbon, Goldsmith, 1632.”
