The Goldsmiths' Company is happy to support the trade by offering a platform for makers to sell their work directly to the public. The Directory also runs advertising campaigns throught the year and supports the makers through social media.

Designer-makers (such as Juliette Bigley, top) featured on the Goldsmiths' Directory are first vetted by an expert panel assembled by The Goldsmiths’ Company. The panel inspects pieces submitted by the makers to approve the quality of the workmanship, as well as biographical information, professional qualifications and documentary photography. Acceptance is a significant accolade for makers and serves as a quality guarantee for consumers.
