Goldsmiths' Fair

Selected by a panel of experts, the 2022 Goldsmiths' Fair brings together 136 of the UK’s most extraordinary silversmiths and goldsmiths, this year’s Fair will not disappoint. From wire work to 3D printing, traditional goldsmithing to intricate engraving, the 40^th anniversary exhibitors combine ancient techniques with modern day technologies, ensuring that there will be something for everyone with a passion for fine jewellery and contemporary silver.

Buying directly from the maker, shoppers can be assured of the quality of their purchases, not only can they inspect an article with the designers and crafters there to answer questions, but each item sold at the Fair must hold a UK hallmark, certifying its precious metal content.

The Goldsmiths’ Company sponsors ten selected recent graduates to display their new collections, with a free stand, a grant, silver bullion loan and tailored mentoring delivered by the Goldsmiths’ Centre.  It’s a level of mentorship and exposure that can really provide a boost early in their career and many Fair graduates have gone on to sterling careers as artist-craftsmen.
